When glazing is removed for restoration or repair, the window surrounds, slots and rebates are cleaned and prepared. The opening is then temporarily boarded-up with ½” sterling board, firmly held in place by internal bracing, battens and coach bolts. This provides an effective, secure and weather-tight barrier whilst the restoration work is undertaken back in our studio.
